Chargebacks

A "chargeback" can ruin a business in many ways.  If a customer tells the issuing bank he was not happy with the merchandise, the issuing bank will usually return the money to the customer.  The merchant now needs to provide a way to get his merchandise back and pay a chargeback fee, usually anywhere from $10.00 to $50.00 per chargeback.
