Merchant Account for Landscapers

If you are opening a new landscaping business or currently have a landscaping business, chances are you will want to accept credit cards.  Mile High Merchant Accounts offers you two terminals - HypercomT4100 POS Terminal and a wireless Nurit 8000 terminal, so you can scan the customer's credit card on site.  You can read more about our retail merchant account and wireless merchant account if needed.  We recommend the Nurit 8000 wireless terminal so you can easily scan the credit cards on site.  If your customers are usually not available for you to swipe their credit card, you might consider an Internet Merchant Account to help save on processing fees.

If you rely on recurring billing for your business, the Quantum Gateway is the perfect choice for you.  It will securely store credit card and checking account numbers on its secure servers.  Then it will automatically bill the customer each month or if the amount is different each month, you can specify that as well - without ever contacting the customer (unless the card has expired or been declined).

• Non-Qualified* / Swiped Visa / MasterCard / Discover Card  Transactions: 1.00% plus 10¢ transaction

Unlike some websites that require you to e-mail or call for rates, we post them on our website (rates are for an Internet merchant account with the QuantumGateway):

• Discount Rate (Visa / MasterCard / Discover Card):  2.09%
• Transaction Fee:  15¢
• Quantum Gateway Fee: $0.00
• AVS (Address Verification Service) Fee: 5¢
• Monthly Statement / Customer Service Charge: $8.00
• ACH Fee:  Free (most charge a transaction cost - this will save you about $5.00 a month)
• Batch Fee:  Free (most charge a transaction cost - this will save you about $7.50 a month)
• Virtual Terminal:  Free (also accessible via a WAP-enabled phone)
• Non-Qualified Rates - Unlike most other companies, we do not have a mid-qualified rate, saving you more money.
  • Discount Rate Surcharge: 1.00% - most companies charge 2% or more on non-qualified rates, bringing your discount rate to over 4%!  Take a look at your merchant account statement to see how many transactions are downgraded.  If you have fifty $100 transactions downgraded to non-qualified, this merchant account can save you at least $50.00 a month!
